Terms of Service

The agreement for using TaxAudit and TaxAuditPro.

Draft. Final wording is being reviewed by our Nigerian lawyer and data protection officer.

Version 1.0 (draft). Last updated 7 October 2026.

In plain English

  • TaxAudit helps you organise and check your records. You stay responsible for your filings.
  • Your data is yours. We process it to provide the service and never sell it.
  • You can stop any time and export everything you've put in.

This summary helps you read the terms; it doesn't replace them.

1. Who we are

TaxAudit and TaxAuditPro are provided by Rivium Analytics Ltd (RC 8927769), 1 Udo Umana Street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

2. The service

TaxAudit organises your business records, checks them against each other and prepares statements and evidence. It is a record-keeping tool, not professional tax advice: see our Disclaimer. TaxAudit is in beta: features are added and improved regularly, and some are marked as coming soon.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and turn on two-step verification. You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the accuracy of what you upload.

4. Your data

You own your business records. We process them only to provide the service, as set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

5. AI features

The AI suggests; a person decides. Check its suggestions before you rely on them: see our AI Use Notice.

6. Acceptable use

Use TaxAudit lawfully and only for records you're entitled to handle: see our Acceptable Use Policy.

7. Plans and payment

TaxAudit is free during the beta. Before any paid plan starts we show the price and ask you to agree; our Refund Policy covers cancellations.

8. Ending

You can close your account at any time and export your data first. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, telling you why.

9. Liability

We take care to run TaxAudit well, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free. Our liability is limited as far as Nigerian law allows.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

11. Changes

We publish every version with its date. For important changes we tell you in advance and, where needed, ask you to accept again.
